1930s SENIOR TT COMPETITION COAT

Featuring radio frequency taped seams: this style was one for the first motorcycle riders coat Belstaff produced. Influenced by early aviation styles, but reinterpreted in vulcanised rubber, this became a key Belstaff fabric of the 1930's.

1950s Supersenia Stormcoat

This classic stormcoat was designed with the worst British winters in mind. The heavy gabardine shell is cotton lined with an additional waterproof interlayer, finished off with a removable woven wool liner for added warmth.

1970s TRIALMASTER XL500

The XL500 range was introduced in the 1970’s offering a smart, warm lined, nylon suit. Clearly styled on the lines of the famous four-pocket Trialmaster Professional jacket.

1980s BRITTON

Britton was a sub-label for country attire created by Belstaff, which embraced the company’s experimental attitude to fabrics for weatherproofing. This example is made of Gortex, a fabric originally developed and adopted by the US military.

1970s BONNINGTON PARKA

Sir Chris Bonington collaborated over a two year period on a number of pieces with Belstaf under the “Great British Weatherproofs” title from 1976. This example was a simple lightweight, nylon shelled zip up.

1980s RAINSUIT PARKA

Black nylon featherweight rain suit, incredibly lightweight and innovative for its time, whilst still using traditional British weather wear taped seam techniques.

1990s STORMSHIELD JACKET

Belstaff introduced Stormshield sporting jackets in the 1970’s initially as part of the country wear offering. Though it became more synonymous with the motorcycle collection, as this futuristic early 1990’s example shows.

2018 TRIALMASTER EVO

An updated version of our iconic four-pocket jacket. The version, in a modern lightweight, breathable fabric, features fully bonded seams, laser-cut edge detailing and waterproof tri-layer fabric to protect against all weather.

The Origins collection uses lightweight and weatherproof materials for optimum functionality. Fabrics have multi-directional stretch for freedom of movement, heat bonded seams to stop water getting in, and breathable membranes to prevent overheating. Low profile hood visors keep the rain out without affecting your vision and an overall sleek tailored fit allows for maximum mobility. Features such as ventilation holes under the arms add breathability whilst waterproof zips and bonded seams at the pockets keep valuables safe and dry.
